Speakers

Master Gardener Speakers Bureau
Horticulture Presentations in Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah, and Warren Counties.

Do You Need a Speaker?

VCE Master Gardeners are available to speak to garden clubs, businesses, libraries, civic groups, and other community organizations on a wide range of home-gardening topics. See our Speakers Bureau Brochure for a current list of topics.

Speaker presentations are based on environmentally sound horticulture practices and principles, are 20 – 45 minutes long, and allow time for questions. If requested, some presentations are adaptable to include a hands-on portion and/or for children.

VCE Master Gardeners do not charge a fee for speaking. Any donation or honorarium from your organization will help NSVMGA continue its community education efforts in the Northern Shenandoah Valley. Checks should be made out to NSVMGA with the speaker’s name in the memo line.

Ready to Arrange a Speaker? Check out our Speakers Bureau Brochure for a current list of topics. Then complete the below form at least two weeks before the speaker is needed. One of our members will follow up to arrange a speaker for your group.

All requests are dependent upon speaker availability. If you have a specific request other than those shown, let us know below, and we’ll try to find someone able to speak to the subject.

Extension Master Gardeners are volunteer educators who work within their communities to encourage and promote environmentally sound horticulture practices through sustainable landscape management, education, and training.

As an educational program of Virginia Cooperative Extension, Extension Master Gardeners bring the resources of Virginia’s land-grant universities, Virginia Tech and Virginia State University, to the people of the Commonwealth.
