Directions to the Memorial Tree

From the field parking lot, follow Tuleyries Lane towards the Ginkgo Grove.

  • Turn left on Wilkins Lane/Loop Drive. Go past the Chestnut Grove parking lot to the next parking area.
  • The Memorial Bur Oak (shown as a blue tree icon on the map below) is at the left corner of the small parking area.
  • There are two information signs there. There is a small metal sign in front of the tree dedicating the tree to our Master Gardener friends who have passed.
  • There is a QR code on the sign that will take visitors to the “In Memoriam” page on the NSVMGA website.  (The sign is a dark metal and may be missed if you are just driving by.)
  • It is a walkable distance, about 6/10ths of a mile. There is a small parking lot near the memorial tree that holds 4 cars and a handicapped spot.
