The Northern Shenandoah Valley Master Gardener Association sponsors a day of VCE educational offerings each spring. The Gardening in the Valley Symposium provides a range of speakers on gardening subjects, as well as garden vendors, book sales, and door prizes. In addition, it counts as continuing education credit for Extension Master Gardeners.

- GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms): What’s in Your Garden? With Deborah Koller, Extension Master Gardener Coordinator and chair of Virginia Tech’s College of Science Dean’s Roundtable, and and Betsy Brown, Extension Master Gardener.
All proceeds benefit the NSVMGA Memorial Scholarship Fund. The cost is $65 through PayPal at the link below or $70 at the door, and includes a continental breakfast and lunch. Parking is free.
